... Exorcising again last night... Having ghostly dreams on and off... Even though I have not watched Juon type movies for a long time... Last night was about some evil spirits that turn my music room into a war zone... So i was "in the name of Jesus Christ I command you to leave my place immediately" ... Repetitively until I voiced out in the dream and woke up... Was I scared? Yupe, a bit, but I know my Lord Jesus will always keep me safe.

Customer
Received an "impolite" call from a customer from the infamous state, complaining that I didn't tell him that he has to pay separate attestation fees if her daughter sign the docs in another legal firm (in his own state of course). He was furious because if he knew he had to pay RM200+ just for attestation he could have flown over to KK to sign. I tried to recall his memory by telling him that on the day he met me, he tried to get discount off the legal fees saying that her daughter is not signing in front of me and that I should deduct the attestation fee from the legal fee and I explained to him that can't be done because our legal fee is for the loan documentation and in fact we did not charge extra for attestation so if his daughter sign elsewhere separate attestation is payable. He still denies ever heard me say anything about that... and then he said "I don't know what you mean by attestation"... Okay... (keeping my cool with lots of effort) "Mr L, maybe I was not clear then and I apologise for that, maybe I can deduct RM50 of my miscellaneous charges in our Bill, would that be okay for you?" Then only he replied with a grunt "Like that OKAY LAH"... SIGH!
I could have been mean to him:
“If you go to a restaurant and eat would you not expect to be paying after the meal?”
“When you were at the firm in your state, didn’t you ask if you need to pay before you sign?”
“You were asking for the attestation fee to be discounted off our legal fee, that shows you understand you need to pay extra attestation fee in Sarawak, right?”

Short Christian
PTL? GBU? They sound horrible… “pee-tea-ale”, “gee-bee-u”… Sorry but I can't appreciate short forms like these! For what Christ has done for us, was it even too troublesome for people to just type "Praise the Lord" and "God Bless You" in full?

Stupid is as stupid does
We requested from the Vendor's solicitors, a Letter of Undertaking to refund loan sum in the event the transfer of title cannot be registered as stipulated in the Sale and Purchase Agreement. The brilliant lawyer replied saying that the LU is not required now because the "contingency" of "the title cannot be registered" has not happened, and so the Vendor doesn't need to provide the LU now.

Dealing with a Cucumber
There is this urgent drawdown that I have don't know told her how many times I want to get it done before the harvest festival holidays (even drafted the DD for her)... she always just "ah ah ah" but when I check with her for the stamping status, her answer is always "I called but the person in not in", "I called but the person in charge is away" etc Then today when she gave me the same answer I got so upset, I thot whatever with the LHDN I think I can still advice bank to release on the confirmation that the loan documents are just pending stamp duty payment... so I checked all documents then this:
Me: Ey XX how come you didn't adjudicate the DARP?
XX: Ya, I saw we charge DARP stamp duty in our bill, but the document is not there?
Me: (showing her a pile of DARP) The documents are here what
XX: I didn’t see them the other day...
Me: ... Can you please do it now
PS: I got time to type all these down because I am waiting for her to pass me back the file after she done adjudicating the DARP which should have been done on 17.05.12...

Little Dan’s point of view
LD's cuteness is...
When we bring him out for a walk passing through the security booth,
instead of stopping us, the guard said, "liang oh"...
when I was trying to drag him into the lift as fast as I could to avoid any reprimand...
The guard at the lobby just said "kiut la"
