Some pictures only look nice without colors…
... I lie, I brag, I boast naturally... so please don't get serious about whatever I say or write :)

Where have all the sugar gone?
I was told “no taking photo”… while taking this picture.
I was simply too upset to find an empty rack that I wanted to post this on my blog… so I stared at the guy who told me off with a blank face… and he went away!
Then, within seconds, another guy came with a trolley of sugar… before he could stack them onto the rack, I asked for two packets… so at the end, the mission mom assigned me, to find sugar at all costs… was accomplished!

I’ve got a parcel
The bible, book and CD I ordered on the first day 2010 have arrived all the way from USA!
Diet Alternative is a book I read twice and still think I should read it over and over again!
Chronological Bible is a book I MUST FINISH reading this year!
Stainer’s Crucifixion CD… to prepare for Good Friday and Easter 2010.
So this year, I vow to be slim in body, fat in soul and spirit!
Today is also pay day… I get an increment of 25%, but some how I wasn’t feeling any thrill nothing compared to the joy of receiving the parcel from amazon…

My First Camera – Fujica DL-20
My first camera was a Fujica DL-20,
made in Japan, 1983… 10 years after me.
DL stands for “drop in film loading”…
so you only need to put in the row of film without having to physically pull the film out and glide it in like most film cameras back then… and that means it saves more film for more pictures!
To turn on the camera, just slide down the level covering the view finder… like this:
Two ISO option: 100 for day time and 400 for night time.
It also, actually, has an SCN mode with three options to capture scenery, normal photograph or profile pictures!!!
Fujinon lens f = 38mm
Comes with three colors: Black, Red and White
I sure miss my first camera…
which have been lost forever!
Really regret having such an ignorant childhood not knowing that cameras are one of those things that you can keep for a long time and it will become precious antique!

Melia KL
I’m happy with my stay at the Melia KL, although I couldn’t actually sleep well, as I feel the room is just “too spacious”… which gave me a bit of “chill”… I guess I’m too used to the tiny but safe and tight rooms of the Tune Hotel!
Spacious Room… clean bathroom…
Look at the complimentary toiletries!
It rained heavily just I as start to get settled in my hotel room, and I so wish I could have just stay in the hotel after accomplishing my mission at Putrajaya… but I’ve got other personal assignments to perform as well ie, dad’s digicam and brother’s DVD-R...
Well, lowyat is right behind the hotel anyway, so it’s fairly easy assignment. I also by the way bought an external hdd for myself.
After dinner with IV and E, I returned to the hotel for the night… and that’s when I start to feel a bit… this is the second time I have to stay in a hotel all by myself. The last time was at Tune Hotel, but it was okay then because the room was small and there’s nothing much for me to scare myself with.
With the spacious Melia hotel room though, there were so many mirrors and “reflective items” (eg the kettle, the door knobs, the black tv screen etc)… I start to remember scenes from Juon again… that movie has really an impact on my life!
I only wish I was with a companion.

A less than 24 hrs trip to KL
I was asked to fly to KL to extract a court order from the Palace of Justice on Thursday and to return to KK with the document by noon on Friday… so that we could serve the order to the opponent before the weekend!
So… tomorrow I will be flying and the following also…
flying consecutive days in one week…
this blog will be updated as I make the journey away from the office

Court Time
“Court waiting” is really dreadful… especially on a Friday!
I can’t think of anything else to do so I took out my K550i and started “cybershooting” anything near me… this is the bell on the Sessions Court Registry Counter…
Sigh… why am I where I was…
I wish I was not there!

Piano Cafe
I like Coffee, I like Sandwich and I like Music performance…
So, if I open a coffee shop which serves coffee and sandwich… with a piano in the shop… and welcome all musicians to play music for free… can make I make money out of it? If yes, then this would be the job that I’d like to do for the rest of my life… any interested investors?

God
We believe in ONE God;
They believe in ONE God;
We worship Abraham’s God;
They also pray to Abraham’s God;
God is God,
God does not belong to anyone or to any religion.
There is no OUR God, THEIR God…
There is just ONE God…
By whatever name you prefer to call him
or whatever way you wish to interpret his name…
The unchanging truth is that God is still God,
the true God we believe in.
You may say I am naive,
but I have no political interest!

Extravagant Lunch
MW treat me and mom lunch at Lintas (coz she got months of bonus!)
And this place is expensive!
Three person ate RM100 over!
Bintulu restaurant… I should have figure it out already…
Sarawakian business man…
but I don’t think I’d ever dine at this place again, not if I have to pay for it! lolz
This was my first taste of Korean cuisine… everyone’s been telling me how hot Korean food is… well, not this meal we had! :p
We were too afraid that it would be too hot to me (I really don’t appreciate spicy food) so we ended up being too careful in picking only very mild dish!

Dinner @ Tenom Station, City Mall
Mom dad are out for dinner… a wedding banquet…
So me and my brother had to eat out, as I happen to have flute lesson at City Mall, we decided to just have dinner there after my music lesson.
There’s this gloomy restaurant on the same row as the music school… Tenom Station.
I had Curry Laksa Meehoon set which came with complimentary lemonade… nice lemonade… and the curry laksa was not so bad (well to me that is, because it is not spicy at all)… the prawns were really fresh! I like that!

Mom’s First Guitar Lesson
Mommy says she wants to learn to play the guitar…
so I sent her to the church and accompanied her…
just like how it used to be…
just that this time, I am the “parent”, mom is the “kid”…
life is reversed!
What a crowded class!
From all age groups: children, youths to Caleb Fellowship!

A Convenient Bible…
Saw a small ad of this Bible at oneyearbibleonline.com
and thought… how convenient!
You know to have an entire bible arranged into 365 days of reading!
So, I went to check it out at my favourite online bookshop: amazon.com and ordered the following bible (along with a Diet Book and a CD)…
I wasn’t even thinking twice about spending the money this time…
as I never do with buying books and music!
It’s a good way to start the year…
spending money on good stuffs!
With the new bible, I hope to maintain an intimate relationship with God. As I can feel that my spirituality is starving… and dying…
I have also subscribed for Our Daily Journal by RBC… and hope to get the booklet soon…
I can’t wait to start a relationship this year…
yes, a real relationship with God.

New Year Resolution?
2009 is gone, finally!
2010… by June, I’d have been a “loyar” for 3 full years!
Before I came back to start my practice,
I have told myself I have to persevere for at least 3 years of practice. So I did, thus far… despite how frustrating and depressing practice has been like.
2010… marks a year of making another big decision in my life.
I will also be attending the 20th WACCM Conference in KL in June this year… I hope I would know what has God planned for me by then: whether to stay put or otherwise.
This year, I have vowed to be closer to God, created a new blog to record my bible study… and bought a new bible, ie “The One Year Bible in Chronology”, to make sure that I would finish reading the bible in 2010 (This year, I MUST exit Exodus!).
This year, I would also like to write more “meaty” English blogs. I know I have not been writing much in my English blog because I have always find it easier to express my feelings in my mother tongue. But, to improve my English expressions, no matter how broken as it is now, I have to speak and write more English.
This year, I have got to start reading all the new books I have been purchasing franticly over 2008 and 2009 but are still being displayed nicely on my bookshelves collecting nothing but dust.
This year, I dare not set too many goals… knowing how forgetful and what a lazy person I am.
